Low Style

The low style of writing/communication is the everyday conversations we have with friends and family. It usually involves slang that both parties understand. Compared to high style, it isn't as structurally sound and would be frowned upon if this style was used in an essay or doctoral/graduate paper. But by no means does a low style mean that it's bad. There's just a time and place for everything.
